Ragunan Zoo Tourism Object - Ragunan Zoo is a tourist attraction located in the Ragunan area, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. The zoo which was founded in 1864 has an area of ​​140 hectares with various collections of 295 species and 4040 specimens.

This Ragunan Zoo Tour is the first zoo in Indonesia which was founded in 1864 under the name Planten En Dierentuin which means "Plants and Zoo". Located on a 10-hectare land in the Cikini area, Menteng, Central Jakarta which was a gift from Raden Saleh. At that time, Planten En Dierentuin was managed by the Association of Flora and Fauna Lovers of Batavia which was incorporated in the Cultural Vereniging Planten en Dierentuin at Batavia.

In 1949, the name Planten En Dierentuin was changed to Cikini Zoo and in 1969 it was moved to the Ragunan area, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta in 1964. The DKI Jakarta government granted 30 hectares of land which became the home of this zoo. Governor of DKI Jakarta Ali Sadikin inaugurated the Ragunan Wildlife Park on June 22, 1966.
