Uluwatu Temple is one of the tourist attractions on the island of Bali, precisely in Pecatu Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. Pura Luhur Uluwatu is built on a steep rock with a height of about 97 meters which is believed by Hindus to be a support for 9 winds or called the Sad Kahyangan Temple and functions as a place of worship for God Rudra.

In the local language moksa is also called ngeluhur. That is why, the name of Uluwatu Temple was later supplemented by the word sublime, becoming Uluwatu Temple.

Luhur Uluwatu Temple has several ordering temples, namely temples that are closely related to the main temple.
